Construction Project Managers, Construction Supervisors and anyone who employs or manages contractors and wishes to develop an understanding and awareness of the current legislative requirements.
Objectives
To develop awareness and competence to manage construction projects safely and effectively, develop company policy in compliance with current legislation and adopt construction industry best practice.
Assessment of the Course
The course material is evaluated by means of a multi-choice assessment paper and a project. Successful completion of the programme results in the award of an Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certificate.
Course Length
The course consists of 3 lecture days including examinations and a practical assessment.
