Objectives
The course concentrates on assessing environmental management systems with references to UK Legislation and will benefit companies in all sectors who are looking to manage Environmental risk.
Course Structure
The course consists of a 5 day program which will include:
- Environmental management systems
- Environmental impact assessments
- Sources and use of energy
- Energy efficiency
- Control of pollution to air and water
- Control of waste and land use
- Sources and use of energy and energy efficiency
- Control of environmental noise
- Planning and dealing with environmental emergencies
Assessment of the Course
Course members complete a 2 hour written examination (NEC1) and a practical application project (NEC2) to be completed in your own time and returned to us by a specific date.
Successful candidates will be awarded the NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management.
Course Length
The course consists of 5 lecture days, a 2 hour written examination and project.
