Health and Safety legislation and industry best practice is constantly changing.
The focus of the RSC is to provide support from our team of specialist consultants,
enabling ongoing development and maintaining an up to date awareness of the health & safety issues that affect your organization.
The club meets on a Bi-monthly basis to discuss a range of topics from … implementing Health & Safety management systems to … reviewing new regulations.

PowerPoint notes are posted or emailed for those individuals who are unable to attend a particular session.
Newsletter
In addition, a Health and Safety newsletter is provided with information on forthcoming Legislation, interesting web sites with free downloads and the latest RISK training courses.
The breakfast meetings will start at 9.00am and will be held at our Mansfield training centre. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available.

New Guidance for the Waste Industry
The recycling industry has nine times more fatal accidents than the national average and four times as many workers suffer injuries. The HSE have identified that some councils may be unclear about their legal duties and mistakenly believe that putting a service out to contract relieves them of all health and safety duties.

The latest statistics show a significant decrease (22%) in the number of fatal injuries to workers averaged over the last five years. "quick link"

HSE is pleased to be a partner in the Scottish Occupational Road Safety Alliance (ScORSA) to assist the Scottish Government's Road Safety Framework to 2020 which aims to influence a reduction in road related injury and deaths.
