IOSH Working Safely: a basic introduction to health and safety in the workplace.  To raise awareness of health and safety and how employees contribute to a working safely culture. 

Meets the current guidelines for introductory health and safety training.

Who is the IOSH Working Safely course for?

  • All levels of employees (non-health and safety trained)

Learning Outcomes: IOSH Working Safely

  • Understand terms such as ‘hazard’ and ‘risk’
  • Able to use appropriate basic principles to mitigate health and safety risks
  • Know when to seek advice on health and safety risks and precautions
  • Understand how their actions impact an organisational health and safety strategy
  • Demonstrate understanding of risk assessments and assist in preparation
  • Report incidents and accidents

  • 10 Question, multiple-choice assessment paper. (20 mins)
  • 3 Hazard spotting exercises
  • Successful participants will be awarded an IOSH Training certificate
