IOSH Working Safely: a basic introduction to health and safety in the workplace. To raise awareness of health and safety and how employees contribute to a working safely culture.
Meets the current guidelines for introductory health and safety training.
Who is the IOSH Working Safely course for?
- All levels of employees (non-health and safety trained)
Learning Outcomes: IOSH Working Safely
- Understand terms such as ‘hazard’ and ‘risk’
- Able to use appropriate basic principles to mitigate health and safety risks
- Know when to seek advice on health and safety risks and precautions
- Understand how their actions impact an organisational health and safety strategy
- Demonstrate understanding of risk assessments and assist in preparation
- Report incidents and accidents

Duration
1 Day – Trainer Led Learning
Certification/Examinations
Taken on the day of training:-
- 10 Question, multiple-choice assessment paper. (20 mins)
- 3 Hazard spotting exercises
- Successful participants will be awarded an IOSH Training certificate
