NEBOSH Fire Certificate will enable individuals to conduct and review workplace fire risk assessments and to make recommendations for protective and preventative methods of fire protection in the workplace.

• Managers, supervisors and individuals with fire safety responsibility
• Individuals carrying out a role as a Safety Adviser

Learning Outcomes: NEBOSH Fire Certificate

• Able to understand the health and safety legalities relating to fire
• Identify causes and solutions to the causes of fire and explosion
• Deploy measures to minimise fire risk
• Advise of the management and maintenance of fire evacuation procedures
• Undertake a simple fire risk assessment of a workplace

What does the NEBOSH Fire Certificate course cover?

• NGC1 : The Management of Health and Safety
• FC1 : Fire Safety and Risk Management
• FC2 : Health and Safety Practical Application (workplace inspection and report writing)

Duration

• 4 days - Trainer Led Learning 
• 1 day - Revision

Certification/Examinations

The course is modular. The award of NEBOSH Fire Certificate requires a pass in the following three modules

• NGC1 – Examination paper (120 mins)
• FC1 – Examination paper (120 mins)
• FC2 – Practical test - a workplace risk assessment of a (30 mins) and preparation of a report following the inspection (90 mins)

This course is eligible for our Guaranteed Pass scheme

Exemptions

Candidates who have successfully passed any of the following, within the last 5 years will be exempt from NGC1 Examination and Unit 1:

• NEBOSH National General Certificate Paper A1
• NEBOSH National Diploma Unit A
• NEBOSH Diploma Part 1
• NEBOSH Diploma Part 2
