CITB Virtual Classroom Courses Success

The CITB has been proactive in its approach to adapting its courses to be taught virtually and administrated remotely online. CITB have also provided refresher amnesties for those needing to renew their qualifications after the mandatory 5 year duration.

A necessity during COVID-19 Lockdown, the ‘Virtual Trainer’ format looks set for the foreseeable future. The changes forced upon the training sector to adapt and deliver the vital CITB SMSTS and SSSTS qualifications remotely, have been a revelation. The construction industry now have to answer the questions about the core purpose of CITB training as these online remote virtual classroom courses deliver the same as the conventional face-to-face equivalent. The feedback from those taking these courses is that they receive the same level of information and quality of training that they would have in a traditional classroom based environment.
