SMSTS day release course is for you if are unable to take five consecutive week days off to complete the benchmark CITB Site Manager Safety Training Scheme qualification. SMSTS is for anyone considering, or already have, responsibilities for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff e.g. site manager. SMSTS Courses
The SMSTS course, or Site Management Safety Training Scheme, is a qualification created by CITB to establish a clear industry-wide standard for the management of health and safety on construction sites. An SMSTS qualification is shown in the Approved Code of Practice for construction regulations, it is considered to be a key requirement for anyone who wants to be a site manager.
SMSTS Course Mandatory Entry Requirements
► To be able to read, write and understand English to a good level. Please contact us if you have any concerns in this area
► You will need to provide a valid ID on the first day of the course, such as a copy of your passport or driving licence
► If you need to re-sit the test, you must do this within 90 days of the original course date at an additional charge
N.B. With RISK, you can re-sit the exam on the same day at no extra fee.
