SMSTS courses delivered in a physical classroom with paper based exam

The SMSTS is a prerequisite qualification for site managers working on a UK construction site. The SMSTS face-to-face classroom based course can also be taken by project managers, supervisors, business owners and clients. This is because taking the SMSTS course gives you an understanding of the practicalities and legal obligations of managing health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on a construction site.

5 Day Block SMSTS Classroom Based Courses Chesterfield

CITB site safety training courses are critical to anyone who has a role on site as they help to demonstrate competence, which is why you must ensure you take extra steps to ensure the knowledge is meaningfully passed on. This is why many people prefer a classroom based learning environment to study the Site Management Safety Training Scheme and get their SMSTS Certificate.

Attending an SMSTS Classroom Based Course

The SMSTS course, or Site Management Safety Training Scheme, is a qualification created by CITB to establish a clear industry-wide standard for the management of health and safety on construction sites. An SMSTS qualification is shown in the Approved Code of Practice for Construction Regulations, it is considered to be a key requirement for anyone who wants to be a site manager.
