Mike Adams Explains the NEBOSH General Certificate delivered as 'Fast Track'

Mike Adams explains how the RISK NEBOSH Fast Track works at their NEBOSH London Course venue - and why if you're taking a NEBOSH exam, you need to consider it before booking.

"Hi, my name is Mike Adams I am going to explain the difference between the NEBOSH General Certificate delivered in the normal manner and the NEBOSH Certificate delivered as a Fast Track. So the NEBOSH General Certificate, the old tried and tested way of doing this was to do your two modules, you do NGC1 Module, NGC2 Module or NCC1 Module. This would be a training period of about two weeks possibly even more if you do the NCC1.

Ultimately, after you have completed the training you would sit the two examinations on the final day so there would be an examination in the morning starting at 9:30 this would run for two hours then you would have a short break and you would have another exam in the afternoon starting at 1:30 which would effectively finish at 3:30.

Here's how NEBOSH Fast Track works

Which is why the NEBOSH General Certificate pass rate is higher than the national average with RISK Health and Safety Training

RISK have a higher than national average pass rate for Nebosh General Certificate because they teach the material in a different way to everyone else. Unique 'Fast Track NEBOSH course' modular learning and exams

Fast Track NEBOSH unique to RISK Health and Safety Training

The Fast Track method that RISK delivers is somewhat different because what we have done is broken it down into the different elements and by delivering the NGC1 from a Monday to a Friday and giving the delegate the revision period over the weekend, also by coming in on the Monday morning we do a quick intensive revision just to polish up the information, the individual has hopefully absorbed over the last seven days and then we do the examination in the afternoon

It condenses the module and the exam into eight days, this enables the individual to concentrate on the particular information relevant to that module

So it has condensed the module and the exam into effectively eight days, this enables the individual to concentrate on the particular information relevant to that module, it gives them a far better chance of passing. Having completed that module and the examination they then go on to study the next module, so they can in effect clear their brain so to speak to download the additional information for the next module and then at the end of the five or seven days dependent upon which exam they are sitting, they would do the next examination in the same fashion so a revision session in the morning and the exam in the afternoon.

It gives the individual the best chance of passing the NEBOSH qualifications

What this effectively does is gives the individual the best chance of passing the NEBOSH qualifications in a manner where the information that needs to be retained is broken down into more of a bite size chunk, instead of trying to remember effectively two and a half weeks worth of information and then sitting the exam you are doing the exam at the end of each module.

Generally speaking we have found this to provide the individual a far better chance of passing and the results that we have established over the last two years support this.
