About our NEBOSH Courses

The NEBOSH National General Certificate is the most widely-held health and safety qualification in the UK.

It is perfect for managers, supervisors and individuals with health and safety responsibility and business owners looking for a strong health and safety culture within their organisation.

NEBOSH General Certificate comprises three modules, the first two of which are six days long and help delegates to:

  • Understand the key legal elements of a health and safety policy
  • Advise on methods of controlling workplace hazards and risks
  • Apply safe systems of work, reporting and effective communication
  • Identify health and safety risks and management solutions
  • Explain and deploy the process of reporting and investigating accidents in the workplace

Each six-day module costs £799 +VAT each. A third module, which tests the practical application of your knowledge in a workplace environment, must also be completed to gain the full qualification - the cost of which is incorporated into the taught modules.

NEBOSH for Construction

The NEBOSH Construction Certificate provides an ideal foundation training for individuals looking to develop a broad understanding of the management of health and safety risks within construction. It is designed for managers, supervisors and individuals with health and safety responsibility within the      construction industry, but is also useful for those involved in building and/or contractor management.

It aims to equip delegates with skills to understand the key legal elements of a health and safety policy, advise on methods of controlling hazards and risks, apply safe systems of work, reporting and effective communication, identify health and environmental risks and solutions to these  and to explain and deploy the process of reporting accidents in the workplace.

The first two modules take six days and eight days, respectively, to complete. Module one costs £799 +VAT and module two costs £950 +VAT.

Again, a third module, which tests the practical application of your knowledge in a workplace environment, must also be completed to gain the full qualification - the cost of which is incorporated into the taught modules.

NEBOSH for fire safety

The NEBOSH Fire Certificate enables individuals to implement preventative methods of fire protection in the workplace. It is for managers, supervisors and individuals with fire safety responsibility and those carrying out a role as a Safety Adviser.

It is aimed at helping delegates to understand the health and safety legalities relating to fire, identify causes and solutions of fire and explosions, deploy measures to minimise risk, manage and maintain fire evacuation procedures and undertake a fire risk assessment of a workplace. It comprises two modules. The first is delivered over six days and the second over five days. Both cost £799 +VAT.

Again, a third module testing the practical application of your knowledge in a workplace environment is required - the cost of which is incorporated into the taught modules.

NEBOSH for the environment

Finally, the NEBOSH Environmental Certificate provides a foundation in environmental management health and safety. It covers UK environmental laws and standardised management methods such as ISO 14001. It is aimed at managers, supervisors and individuals with responsibility for managing environmental issues, those seeking to progress to the NEBOSH National Diploma in Environmental Management, and Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) consultants.

The course aims to give delegates the ability to understand environmental management systems, identify sources of energy, consider energy efficiency, spot hazards and controls associated with air, land, water and waste, deploy planning methods for management of environmental emergencies, and conduct environmental impact assessments.

Module one is five days long and costs £849 +VAT. Module two is workplace-based and incorporates a practical application test and report - the cost of which is incorporated into the taught modules.
