Having taken the seven day block to review and digest the information, day eight you return to the RISK training centre for a morning of intensive revision and written exam.

Morning - Focused, high impact, trainer led revision
Afternoon -  Your exam is taken while your knowledge on the subject matter is fresh and undiluted
 

NEBOSH National Construction Certificate Course Objectives

On successful completion of the NEBOSH National Construction Certificate you will be able to:

Understand the main requirements and application of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015

Understand the factors to consider when carrying out a site assessment; identify construction activity hazards, assess the risks and recommend control measures

Identify the hazards & and outline appropriate control measures in the following areas: movement of people & vehicles, manual & mechanical handling, work equipment, electrical, chemical & biological, physical & psychological, working at height, excavation work & confined spaces & demolition

Successfully carry out a safety inspection of a construction workplace identifying hazards, recommending control measures and preparing a management report

 

Upon successful completion of all three modules, you will be awarded the NEBOSH National Construction Certificate

 

The NEBOSH Certificate is accepted by IOSH – the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health – in meeting the academic requirements for Technician Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH). It is also accepted by The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) for associate membership.
