NG2 Controlling Workplace Hazards
Fast Track Module 2
NG2 can only be taken after completing the NG1 Course. NG2 is a 5 day, trainer led, learning module to enable delegates to complete the National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

This unique RISK Fast Track NEBOSH course enables delegates to fully immerse themselves in the subject matter in a five day block.

Having taken the five day block NEBOSH NG2 Course, you have the weekend to review and digest the information.
You will then be tasked with writing a risk assessment in a report format. This written report and risk assessment constitutes your exam. Once sent to RISK it will be submitted to NEBOSH for marking.
NEBOSH NG2 Module Topics Covered:
► Legal requirements for health and safety at work
► Implementation of health and safety management systems
► Identification of workplace hazards
► Methods of hazard control
► Practical application of knowledge and understanding
The NG2 Module forms the second element of the NEBOSH General Certificate. On successful completion of the NG2 module, NEBOSH award a parchment to each delegate.
Additional subject specific modules can be completed to gain a full NEBOSH certificate.
NEBOSH allow delegates up to 5 years to complete any additional modules and therefore gain a wide knowledge and understanding of Occupational Safety and Health.
Professional Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) – Upon completion of a full Certificate Qualification
Holders of NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety are entitled to Associate Membership (AIOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). The qualification also meets the academic requirements for Technical membership (Tech IOSH) of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH – www.iosh.co.uk) and Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM – www.iirsm.org).
