NEBOSH Construction Certificate passed with Credit at Nottingham with RISK Health and Safety Training
Below is an interview with Kris Gillott Danks, who has subsequently passed his NGC1 with a Credit after studying with RISK. Kris took the NEBOSH Construction Certificate course at Nottingham - taking the RISK Fast Track NEBOSH course format. I work for Eon UK
Hello my name is Kris Gillott-Danks and I work for Eon UK. Eon UK produce power across the United Kingdom and Europe and my job role within the company is Shift Team Leader and also senior authorised person. So under management of Health and Safety at Work Regulation 7 there is a requirement to have competent people within an organisation with regards to health and safety.
Obviously Eon has a big health and safety department
Obviously Eon has a big health and safety department that this qualification would help me to be a small cog in that department. I was most apprehensive about possibly the failure rates to the course, there is a lot of learning and it is quite a prestigious qualification to have. It just accumulates all the health and safety training I have had previously.
Risk training on the Nebosh course is really good
The current experience of have had with the Risk training on the Nebosh course is really good, I have had quite a lot of health and safety training in the past and yes its up there with the rest of them – high standard.
I rate the Risk approach to teaching Nebosh highly
I rate the Risk approach to teaching Nebosh quite highly, quite appealing to me when I was looking round the courses and the options that I had. The fact that you could do a course, get the area covered passed and move on and do another course at another interval really appealed to me.
Nottingham facilities an excellent location
The training location is excellent, good facilities to learn, good atmosphere, its condusive to learning, it’s really good. The helpline that Risk provides is very positive, I work for Eon and there is a big support culture anyway health and safety wise, and any kind of access to additional support is always good.
I would recommend other people to use Risk
I would recommend other people to use Risk purely on the new approach to the way of the teaching of NEBOSH and the options that you have got to confirm a module and then have a break and do another module – it seems good.
