Internationalisation of health and safety training
31 May 2021
One of the unexpected consequences of the switch to remote video led health and safety training is that it's no longer location centric.
Global reach of video conferencing
During 2020 RISK have seen their international client base increase because many overseas delegates choose to have remote training from a reputable British training company providing globally recognised accredited qualifications. Video conferencing is helping those who embrace the new culture and who want a more flexible way of working, training and communicating - irrespective of where they are.
With a simple time zone adjustment it's easy
Training health and safety by video works for some overseas delegates because their timezone means it doesn't impact on their daily work commitments. Whilst others are prepared to temporarily adjust their body clock to take advantage of the training - because they value the quality of trainer, course and qualification - which is unavailable locally.
Those looking for a UK specific qualification
Another area of growth RISK have observed is where overseas delegates are looking for a credible UK health and safety qualification, because they are seeking a job in the UK. Previously delegates would have had to endure the cost and inconvenience of travelling to the UK, staying in a hotel and undertaking a face-to-face classroom based course.
