How long is the NEBOSH construction course?
18 July 2022
The new format course and assessment process makes this qualification more demanding, but RISK have developed a syllabus format which covers the 9 study days and increases your chance of passing. NEBOSH Construction Certificate is a tough 9 day course – but we’ve split it to make learning easier.
The nine day Construction Certificate course with Open Book Exam
The NEBOSH Construction Certificate is a tough 9 day course covering two focused learning goals;
- The basics of UK H&S Law and Management Systems and;
- Identifying & Controlling Hazards.
The NC1 is assessed by Open Book Exam (OBE) and to pass, delegates need to achieve a mark of 45% or more. Plus participate in a 'closing interview' to achieve the NEBOSH Construction Certificate qualification.

There are many endorsed course providers and the best ones, like RISK, have NEBOSH Gold Partner status. But even then, there are a myriad of options to choose from; face-to-face classroom, virtual classroom, day release or block courses - which suits you best?
