The benefit of remote learning over a physical classroom is simple – it’s more time and cost efficient. Plus, given the exam is online - and you’ll need to do this remotely - it’s better preparation for the final assessment.

How does the NEBOSH Construction course and exam work?
There are three elements to achieving the NEBOSH Construction Certificate. The first element is the NC1 module of the NEBOSH Construction Certificate, which is a 9-day remote online course. It is tutor led in a virtual classroom, so you'll have a cohort of up to 10 fellow delegates to bounce off and discuss the course subject matter. The learning is assessed by an Open Book Exam - the exam date is specific to the course being booked - and you'll have a set 48-hour window to complete the exam online. The final element is the closing interview, this is within 10 days of sitting the exam and is simply to validate that you took the exam. It essentially validates you didn't get another person to take the exam, and you really understand the issues outlined within the various questions. To pass you need to sit the whole of the course, pass the exam (45% or more) and be passed by your course tutor who conducts the closing interview.
