NEBOSH Construction Nottingham - James Chambers

NEBOSH Construction Certificate passed at Nottingham with RISK Health and Safety Training

Below is an interview with James Chambers, who took the NEBOSH Construction Certificate course at Nottingham - taking the RISK Fast Track NEBOSH course format. This enables you to immerse yourself in the subject matter and take an exam while your knowledge on the subject matter is fresh and undiluted.

Which is why the NEBOSH Construction Certificate pass rate is higher than the national average with RISK Health and Safety Training

RISK have a higher than national average pass rate for Nebosh Construction because they teach the material in a different way to everyone else. Unique 'Fast Track NEBOSH course' modular learning and exams

I'm Health & Safety Advisor for Magdalene Telecomms, which is why I need NEBOSH Construction

"My name is James Stephen Chambers, the company I work for is Magdalene Telecomms and they are a telecommunications company they implement mobile, fixed and fibre networks throughout the UK. My job role is a Health & Safety Advisor for all the other project managers and I am a Quality Supervisor for any electrical installations,

"I do site safety audits and quality audits. The courses that I am taking are the NGC1; which is what I am doing at the moment and I will be doing the GC2 next week. I requested to go on the course at the annual appraisals at work.

Apprehensive about NEBOSH - but think RISK are better than preivious training companies experienced

I am most apprehensive about the actual learning, I am more of a hands on person so actually sitting down in a classroom is very alien. I have used other training advisors, I have done my IOSH Managing Safely with WATA down in Huntingdon and compared to them RISK I think are better. I think Mike has put out as best as he physically can do, if there is any questions he has said “just ask the question” and when he does give out an answer he breaks it down until you actually, physically understand what he is getting at. It is an NGC1 course; there is not a lot to enjoy about it; as I have said previously.

Nottingham location is really accessible

I am an outdoor person, I like to be outdoors but I know I have to do this course for myself, my family and my future prospects in work, so it is a necessity and I need to do it and want to do it. Most definitely I will get my work to contact RISK to get more training done, as you do other health and safety training; at the moment we go to one company down South.  Because you are Midlands based we have offices in Scotland, Ireland and all over the UK and it would be handy to have a company that’s a central location, so that we are not having to all go down South.
