Below is an interview with Andrew Walker, who took the NEBOSH Construction Certificate course at Nottingham - taking the RISK Fast Track NEBOSH course format. This enables you to immerse yourself in the subject matter and take an exam while your knowledge on the subject matter is fresh and undiluted.

I am Construction Manager and Logistics Manager for Thomas Vale

My name is Andrew Walker and I am Construction Manager and Logistics Manager for Thomas Vale which are part of the Bree Consruction Group in Staffordshire.

I’ve taken the NGC1 and the NCC1 and I am on a NGC1 re-sit at the moment.  I had heard from colleagues who had previously sat within the construction industry and I reviewed who was closest to me  with almost a guaranteed pass rate that I wanted and if I did fail I could come back without any more costs to me.

I have enjoyed coming to RISK

I have enjoyed coming to RISK and I have also done a lot with the National Construction College and the benefits of being with RISK – its been a friendly environment, the tutors have always been on hand to help me if I have any questions and I have not been afraid to put my hand up (unlike in other course environments).

The tutors were on hand 24 hours a day if I needed any questions answering

So I know that with RISK I have had the help and I have had the expertise on the end of the phone to help me out if need be.  The tutors were on hand 24 hours a day and if I needed any questions answering or queries on the exam papers they were always there to help me.  It was one of those things, I knew what rules and regulations were and should be in place within a company but with the benefit or RISK and the NEBOSH course – I now understand and I have got some idea of what I should be walking into every time I go to an employer and what the legal representation and what they should know.

I funded this course myself to have the guaranteed pass rate has been a really good thing for me so yes I would come back to RISK in the future, not only for  the guaranteed pass, the staff have always been brilliant and any advice or questions have been answered.

I would recommend RISK for the NEBOSH course

I have put other people forward to come to RISK to work with them and hopefully pass their qualifications. Fingers crossed as much as I hope to pass mine!

Which is why the NEBOSH Construction Certificate pass rate is higher than the national average with RISK Health and Safety Training
