NEBOSH Construction Certificate passed at Nottingham with RISK Health and Safety Training
Below is an interview with Shaun Sutton, who has subsequently passed his NGC1, NGC2 & NGC3 with a Credit with RISK. Shaun took the NEBOSH Construction Certificate course at Nottingham - taking the RISK Fast Track NEBOSH course format. This enables you to immerse yourself in the subject matter and take an exam while your knowledge on the subject matter is fresh and undiluted.
I work for Brett Landscaping and Building Products
I’m Shaun Sutton and I work for Brett Landscaping and Building Products at barrow upon Soar in Leicestershire. The company manufactures concrete paving products such as slabs, paving blocks, curb stones and I am the Maintenance Manager for the site at Barrow upon Soar.
NEBOSH is quite an intense course
Before starting the course I was a little apprehensive, I have done training courses before, it’s quite an intense course, doing 2 modules, one after the other so very intense but I am enjoying it.
The modular way of teaching is very beneficial
The modular way of teaching has been very beneficial. You get much more detail of each of the subjects and allows us to explore them in a greater depth. I am aware of the legal obligation for the company to have competent health and safety advice. We do currently have a health and safety supervisor on site but the reason I am on this course it to further strengthen the company’s understanding of health and safety, the issues and legislation.
Training facilities and environment are excellent
The Risk FREE support helpline is a great opportunity after the course is done, any questions any workplace issues, its a good source of information and should be a great support whenever we need to use it. The training facilities and the environment here are excellent, nice new modern facility, everything you could wish for really. I would certainly recommend Risk as a training provider, from the number of people who have attended the course from our company and I am sure many more will attend in the future.
