RISK update on COVID-19 (Updated September 20)

What action is RISK taking to protect people during the COVID-19 pandemic?
As a business we are committed to ensuring those we train our colleagues and venue staff remain as safe as possible. RISK have worked through the crisis, whilst responding accordingly with the directions provided. As a result most CITB, NEBOSH & IOSH courses are now running remotely - both in open delegate format via zoom or in-company via zoom or Teams.

All delegates places are being rescheduled FREE of charge onto the next available course. You will of course be kept informed and if the rescheduled course selected isn't possible or convenient - then we will reschedule accordingly. Cancellations Policy
Due to the types of courses and potential impact on individuals and businesses, all courses are running as scheduled and the cancellation terms in our contracts remain. As and when Government advice changes, we will contact any company or individuals booked with us. High Security Venues
London - UJ Club which is a 250 bedroom hotel for private members* used for civil servants and MOD, security is high at all times. Due to the current situation the venue is currently being under utilised (there are approx 40 – 50 people including staff in the building at any one time). *Available for RISK delegates to book and minimise public transport.
Nottingham - Tangent Business Hub – State-of-the-art council run business centre with daily security. RISK have their own training room, all centre staff are being encouraged to work from home wherever possible to eliminate the possibility of the virus spreading. As a result the delegates are likely to be the only people in the building in addition to the mandatory security staff, course trainers, etc.
Increase Safety Measures post this current Crisis
RISK will continue to do what we can to provide you with a safe and hygienic place to train. Given the on-going uncertainty, we may need to make further changes but here's what's been implemented since last week, and will be an ongoing measure when training resumes:
- Courses are delivered in Venues with access Security and are NOT open to the general public
- Delegates are screened on entry to ensure there are no obvious health concerns
- Sanitising gel is available throughout the venues and enhanced cleaning regimes are in place
- Washrooms are available on all floors so delegates can maintain personal hygiene
- Oversized rooms are used for training to ensure delegates maintain the recommended personal space
